Kendra Bowe-Cooper

Kendra Bowe-Cooper was born and raised in New Providence, and
from an early age she realized she was destined to help people. So while working as a legal secretary at the law firm of Graham Thompson &; Co. for almost Ten (10) years, she began a long distance course in law with the University Wolver Hampton. She had an opportunity to travel to Europe in Dublin, Ireland and Luxembourg where her career path changed from law to Alternative Health Care. Kendra completed a programme in Aromatherapy and Reflexology in Dublin, Ireland and a Massage Therapy course at Florida College of Natural Health in Pompano Beach, FL. She is a Certified Massage Therapist having completed the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work in Florida. In addition, Kendra completed a skin care course with L’Institut des Esthetiques in Nassau and a Reflexology course with the Ingham Institute in Florida. She has also studied Aviana Mindful Touch Therapy which is a module that is designed for mental and physical healing for cancer clients and also Energy healing modalities in Pranic Healing and Reiki. Having a keen interest in the colon, Kendra is now a certified colon therapist in the United States and has performed more than 10,000 colonics in the Bahamas and growing. Knowing that the body is able to heal itself through touch, Kendra has also completed a course in Lymphatic Drainage.

Cooper. Dancing is one of Kendra’s passions -- she has danced with the Bahamas Dance Theatre and lately she has done liturgical dancing with the Bahamas National Liturgical Dance Company and now Just Dance Bahamas. Kendra was also the Massage Instructor for the Massage Therapy programme at Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) for Four (4) years before branching into her own institute, Bahamas College of Natural Health. Kendra enjoys working in her field and having the opportunity to work with people who need spiritual, physical and emotional healing. She is
the owner of Therapeutic Natural Health Spa on 7th Terrace, Centerville.
